Susan McFadden is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC). She provides a compassionate and empathetic approach to counseling services and allows the individual to guide the session. She takes an holistic, person-centered approach that incorporates multiple techniques: existentialism, mindfulness, reality therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused, and strength-based approaches. When working with couples Susan incorporates Imago therapy, Gottman Method, and Emotionally Focused Therapy.
Susan’s supervision services align with the discrimination model where she embraces the roles of teacher, counselor, and consultant.
Susan’s teaching approach acknowledges the experiences of the adult learner and is student focused. This teaching style aligns with the phenomenological philosophy.
